Jamie is a thoroughbred racer, starting his career in karting at a young age. As a junior he was the UK karting champion, before becoming second in the world. He then moved into a single seater and in his debut year he won the Formula Ford Championship, before progressing into Formula Three, where he won the National B Class! All of this before he was 18 years old! Jamie was set to follow in the footsteps of Nigel Mansell. He tested for Formula One at the age of 19, but was too young.
Jamie went on to touring cars with Nissan and spent a year in Japan with Toyota and a year in America racing in the Barber Dodge Series. Following a break from racing, Jamie came back when he joined forces with Jason to form the IAG Racing team.
Jason’s passion for racing was ignited when he took part in several corporate driving days, where out of 90 contestants he came first in every race. Driver coaches encouraged him to obtain his racing licence, which he has now had for five years. In a short space of time, Jason has progressed to become a confident driver, and to be driving a Le Mans Prototype so soon, is an amazing achievement.
Together they form a strong duo and are title chasing this season with the 360 Racing Team.
